Who Qualifies for Nevada WIC?
To qualify for WIC in Nevada, you must meet all three requirements:
- Categorical: You must be pregnant, breastfeeding (up to 12 months), postpartum not breastfeeding (up to 6 months), an infant under 12 months, or a child ages 1 to 4. Pregnant women should count their unborn child when determining household size.
- Income: Household income at or below 185% FPL, or you already receive Medicaid, SNAP, or TANF
- Nutritional risk: A WIC health professional determines you are at nutritional risk. Most applicants qualify on this standard.
