2021 Federal Poverty Levels have not yet been publicly released by the ASPE. The 2021 poverty guidelines will be updated the week of January 18-22. The calculators on this site will be updated shortly after that. In the meantime, for ACA marketplace coverage and other programs which utilize the poverty level guidelines, continue to reference the 2020 poverty levels until the 2021 guidelines are published. Some programs may continue to reference the 2020 guidelines until their systems are updated. Use the 2020 calculator below to get results based on your income and household information.

The 2020 federal poverty level (FPL) for a single person residing in the 48 contiguous states or Washington, D.C. is $12,760. In Alaska, the federal poverty level for a single person is $15,950 and in Hawaii it is $14,680. To calculate percentages such as 133% or 135%, etc. or additional household members please use the calculator below.
